JULY FAVOURITES 2013

My July favourites this month are some of my summer favourites and my most used products of the month and I loved them. The first item is Max Factors Max effect Mini Nail Polish 12. It was a present from Gratis the market where I purchased some other cosmetics and I didn't thought I would like it so much. First I painted my toes with it and it is such a beautifull summery hot pink that after a while I painted all my other nails and I think of purchasing the full size now.

 

My second favourite is a sunscreen, Derma Plus MD ZinClear SPF 30 Tinted in Nude. It is a sunscreen for face, it has Zinc in it so it helps fighting blemishes, protects from sun and gives you some color so you don't look very pale. It doesn't contain any oil. It's the best I ever tried.

 

 

Victoria's Secret Body Sprey in Pure Seduction is my summer sence this year. It is described as Red Plum and Freesia sence. It is the sexiest body sprey I have tried . I bought it online but Victoria's Secret is also in Istanmbul now, I found a shop in Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul and got crazy happy!

 

 

The weather is very hot now in Turkey, Izmir where I live, so I try to avoid foundation these days so after I put my tinted sunscreen I put some Sephora mineral powder on. It is a fine compact foundation powder and I use it in Money 25.

 

 

Another summer essencial are Oil blotting papers. I found the Sephora one. They not only take all the oil but also contains a fine translucent powder, so after using the paper you don't have to powder your face. The best thing about oil blotting papers is that you can use them over your makeup, even when you have some heavy makeup on. 

 

 

My beach mascara is False Lash Effect Waterproof Mascara. Since it is waterproof you can go swimming in sea and pool and it is a good not clamping mascara, if you have smudging problems in hot wheather.

 

 

My favourite blush is a baby pink one from The Balm, Down Boy. It is very pigmented and long lasting so you don't have to reapply during the day.

 

 

My most used eyeshadow is from Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow palette. I got it online. They are shimmery very natural colored eyeshadows. This palette comes also with a makeup primer.

Skin care

Today I want to show you my skin care rutine. My skin is oily so the products I use are oily skin proper. I will write some alternatives for other skin types also.

 

First I remove my make up with Bioderma Sensibio H2O. It is the best make up remover for every type of skin. Especially for sensible skin.

 

 

I put a head band so my hair don't get wet.

 

 

 

I clean my face with Neutrogena Deep Clean, a gel wash suitable for oily and normal skin. Don't use it if your skin is dry, better use some cleansing milk.

 

Neutrogena Clear Pore Wash in the best washer for oily and especially acne prone skin. I use it if my face is not in good condition.

 

 

 Next I use Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Daily Scrub. It has a good peeling effect and a strog mentol scent which helps waking up. 

 

Then I scrub my lips with Lush Bubblegum lipscrub. It is a sugary lipscrub with an amasing flavour and you can leak and eat it if you want or rinse with water :)

 

After scrub I put some hot water in a big bowel and do some vapor to open the pores and get rid of black heads.

 



 

This is another useful tool for back heads, but you can use your fingers and some toilet paper rolled into them for the same purpose.

 

After cleaning the pores I use L'Oreal Triple Acting Fresh Tonic to narrow them.

 

Then I use Neutrogena Deep Clean Oil-Contoling Mask but you can use whatever mask you want, even some home made masks.

 

I use a wet sponge to take off the mask. I repeat the Tonic in this step.

 

 

After finishing cleaning my skin I put some eyecream on. My favourite one is Bioderma Sensibio Eye because is the only cream that don't make my eye skin ichy, since I have a very sensitive eye skin and a lot of other high end cream didn't work.

 

 

And last but not least I always hydrate my skin with L'Oreal Pure Zone Moisturizer.

 

After my skin care rutine I don't put any make up or foundation on for 2- 3 days. My skin feels very soft, gentle and healthy.

APRIL FAVORITES 2013

Last month I found out some new products and I loved them, so I decided to do a series of favorite products every month. Here it is my April favorites:

My first favorite is "Neutrogena one step gentle cleanser". I use the original Neutrogena face cleanser for oiled skin a lot and it is still my favorite, but the advantage of this one is that it is suitable for around eyes too. It is not only a face cleanser but also a make up cleanser, and I love it when I do heavy make up.

This is "Aussie moist 3 minute miracle  deep treatment condition revitaliser". It is a very good hair conditioner, makes the hair very very smoth. I use it after shampoo, leave it 3 minutes in my hair and then comb my hair and rinse it. I was send it from America but the good news is that I found here in Watson stores in a similar but white bottle.

These days Bioderma has become my favorite brand in skin care. This is "Bioderma Sensibio Eye Gel" for sensitive and intolerant skin. A lot of eye creams make my skin itchy and dry so I am very happy to find something delicate like this.

This is my favorite body sprey "The Body Shop in Vanilla". It is a light sprey and I like to sprey it before I go to work because I dont want to smell too much parfume there.

And here it is my favorite's favorite "Urban Dekays Nakede Basics" eyeshadow palete. I wanned to be the first to get it and I was very happy when I so it in Sephora.

I did a lot of make up looks with this palette this month, and each of them was very natural. I feel it enhances your natural beauty, and don't feel like you have make up at all.

My new mascara is "Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume" and it was send to me from America too but it has the same brush and is very similar with Max Factor Mascara. It don't cause clamping in eyelashes and you don't have to use eyelash curler with it because it curles the lashes in a perfect way.

My favorite lipstick "Maybelline Color Sensational in Pink Brown No 620" is in a natural pink color. It's just like my lips color.

 

 My favorite lipgloss "NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beige No 129" is a baby pink colored lipgloss. I don't think you can find the same color, but this brend can be found in Douglas stores and there are a lot of other beautiful colors . It is a mate color and it isn't sticky at all. So I highly recommend it. That's all for April. Hope you like it!

My shirts for spring and fall.

We are in the middle of the spring and the most important question is "What to wear?" especially these rainy and sunny days mixed up together. These days my choise is shirts and I wanted to show some of them to you.

This shirt I bought from LC Waikiki with this pants. It has some bright flowers, and a beautiful design of them so I love it however I don't like every flowered thing.

This black shirt is a classical one, you can combine it with anything. I woud wear it with these pants in fall better and with skirt in spring. I bought it from Que Fabrika.

This shirt is special because it doesn't have buttons. It is silk like and I love its colour. From Adil Isık.

Here it is another simple shirt from Cotton. I like Cotton because it is easy to find every shirt in every colour you want and you can find it in every season. Light blue is my favourite color. It makes green eyes appear more bluish.

Here is another shirt from Cotton in light lilac, with a design a bit different from the first. Very pretty and girly.

My last shirt is a deep blue with blue roses in it. I love it. I bought it in Albania from Sisline. It's a very chik one.

Simple daily make up.

Some days we don't want to do a full face make up but still want to ephasis the eyes, so that we don't look pale.

Here I didn't put any foundation or bb cream, there is only hydating cream L'oreal Pure Zone. I used a brownish eyeshadow on my lid. It's a light brown by Sephora with brick color undertone.

I used Maybelline Infaillible waterproof blach pencil as eyeliner on the upper lid and 2/3 of the outer part of the lower eyelid. As my eyelids are oily and I didn't put eye primer, the black liner smudged a bit. I suggest to put eye primer on the lid or some black eyeshadow over the pencil to prevent smudging.

I put  Maybelline Volum' Express black mascara on my upper and low eyelashes.

 I put some light pink blush from Sephora and a light rose lipstick. I wish I put some loose transparent powder too, because my skin is oily.

And that's it. A light make up, a big wave hair and a pure skin, to look simple but radiant.
