Goodbye Summer! Welcome Autumn!

Goodbye Summer! This summer I gave birth my daughter. The first half I was pregnant but since the weather was cool I didn't get frustrated at all. That period of time seemed me like a year, it was that hard wating for the baby to come. My daughter was born in 9 July. It was the best day of my life. I was very excited.
The second half of summer I was in home healing and dealing with my baby. I went out as soon as I could. Since the babies need vitamin D I wanted my babygirl get as soon as possible some sunbath. Of course we brought her out early in morning or late in afternoon.

Welcome Autumn! I am very happy autumn came, I hope it will be a warm one because we plan to have a late seaside holiday this season. I want my baby touch sea water, play with it, have some sand between her foot fingers. But I am also prepared if it rains. If so we can go out and visit several places in the town.
Autumn is the season of my birthday. I always plan a small family party and generally I get a lot of presents.
I also love rain but in Izmir it rains only a few days all year around. I love going out in a rainy day, get my hair wet and than come bac home and fall aslep under a flyffy blanket.
So welcome autumn, I am happy you are here.

Pregnancy Fashion - Dresses and shoes

When we talk about pregnancy fashion we think comfort first and wearing dresses is confortable and fashionable at the same time.

The dress I wear the most is the one I got from Gebe store in Agora Mall. It is a pregnancy dress, I can wear it after pregnancy also. It is a fine dress, a beautiful coral colour, you can wash and dry it immediately . It's the most confortable dress I wore.

At the begining of my pregnancy it was winter but as the weather become warmer I could wear a dress in the party organised for my friend who finished the emergency specialization. I wore a navy blu laced dress one number larger then my normal size. I combined it with a golden belt, a black smoky eye and nude lip make up.

Then in the weeding of another friend I managed to wear my regular sized coral satin dress and I loved the way it fit.

Another dress I found out the last days of my pregnancy is my red dress. I have had it in my wardrobe but didn't think would fit me.

First I wore sport shoes as my bump wasn't so big and I could lace them up.

Then I wore flats to not have to bend over. A nude pair of flats goes with every piece of cloth you have.

Then you know flip flops are always a good choise. Only be careful some of them like my light blue ones can slip when there is water where you step up.

Last month I bought something that didn't slip and could be used as sandal or slipper. I used them at most as slipper. I found them beautiful because of their bright turquoise colour and very useful beacause as the pregnancy advanced my feet got wider and couldn't fit on normal sandals.

Pregnancy sometimes can be a difficult period but you can make it easier by spoiling yourself with some new clothes and shoes, by going out a lot especially after leaving the work and geting birth permition and spend some time caring of your home, yourself and your husband. Don't forget to get a holiday and go to the sea if you can!

It's a final countdown!

It's a final countdown! There are 24 days left for baby to arrive. I'm very exited but not stressed.
All the baby clothes are washed and ironed.
I packed mine and baby's bag since my 28th week of pregnancy but preparations don't seem to end.
I love my bags, they are colourful and summery.

Pregnancy Fashion - Trousers, leggings, capris.

It is very difficult to be fashionable during pregnancy. Until my 6th month I wore almost the same things I wore normally. I needed only a pair of maternity jeans.

All my blouses and jumpers fit me, even the one I had were stretchy and short. I  realized this during pregnancy, I didn't thought that was my style before having a little bump showing.

After the 5th month of pregnancy my bump began expanding, it became very difficult to find cloths to wear, of course there are plenty of maternity clothes around but I wanted them to be of good quality, fit well, don't exaggerate or hide the pregnancy and surely be fashionable.

It was especially hard to find something to wear in special occasions, because you don't want to go and spend a lot of money for something you will wear only once if you don't think  getting pregnant again.

Then you have to search for swimming suit if it is summer and I don't mention the coats and jackets because I was fortunate to pass the winter in my early stages of pregnancy.

In the last months it was important to get some appropriate shoes as you don't want to bend over and lace anything. The flats, slippers or flip flops are awesome.

These days the problem is that even my maternity trousers don't fit me any more. Lucky me it is summer and I have a beautiful dress to wear every day without getting bored but I will write sometimes later to show you the dresses and shoes.

Kiss, kiss!

Shopping

Today I went shopping. These is what I bought. My main purchase was Mustela Strech Mark Lotion to prevent strech marks since I am pregnant. I used Lierac Gel first but my friend insisted me to try Mustela. I used one Mustela lotion before and found it to be more hydrating. I loved it and decide to repurchse.

Since 5th month of pregnancy I was tought by my doctor to use Marincap Omega 3 capsules because It was a winter and I work indoors and don't have enough sun baths.

Another repurchase is Bioderma Makeup Cleanser Water. It is perfect for sensitive skin, it takes off make up, doesn't need to be rinsed, serves as a tonic and you can use to wipe the excesive oil of the skin even if you haven't done any make up that day.

The most beautiful and colourful thing I got is my new wallet. I like it being silver and have summer colours too. It is useful because you can put your cards, cash and also your iphone in it and I was so surprised because the most of cuttiest wallets are to small to put your phone in.

The last are my Sephora oil blotting sheets. It is important to have some especially in summer not only for oil but for sweat too. They contain a fine transparent powder that helps when you have make up on and you don't want it to be ruined.

Estee Lauder Make up Tutorial

Estee Lauder is one of my favourite makeup brands. I love the night serum, eye cream, lipstick and last day I got an eye shadow duo which inspired me to do this look.

I wanted to do a daily look and started with Maybelline Affinetone foundation in colour 30 Sand. I applied it with Mac Stippling brush no 187. Under my eyes I put L'Oreal La touche magique no 3-4-5 Rose beige. I put Stay Matte pressed powder no 001 Transparent all over my face beacuse I have oily skin with Mac kabuki brush no182. I put Debora bronzer ( an old one so I don't no its number and name) under my cheeks, in my forehead and in my jaw line with Mac angled brush no 168. I put Frat Boy that is a beautiful peachy pink blush from the Balm on my cheek with Mac blush brush no 129 . I love it because you put a little bit in the morning and in the evening it is still there.

I filled my eyebrows with Nyx eyebrow pencil in EP06 taupe. I put Nars eyeshadow Pro-primer on my upper lids, Mac Vanilla eyeshadow on my inner corners of eyes and under my brow with Mac fluffy brush no 224 and then Estee Lauder Pure Color EyeShadow Duo no 11 Shells. I put the light pink mat shadow all over my lid until the crease with Mac flat stiff brush no 239 and the dark color a purple taupe a little bit shiny colour in the outer corner and the crease with Mac stiff dome brush no 217.

I put Maybelline eyeliner Master precise in black and did a little flick. I used Shemura eyelash curler and Physician Formula mascara in black in my upper lashes. Then I put on Estee Lauder lipstick in 01 Crystal Baby.
