Foundations

The foundation I use and love are:

The first one is a drugstore foundation that I can't stop using, Maybelline Affinetone in 30 Sand. It is a perfecting & longlasting foundation. It really lasts 24 hour, but at the end of the day I get greasy as I have greasy skin, so I always apply a transparent mattifying powder over it. It has SPF 19 sunscreen so suitable as a daily foundation. I apply it with Mac 187 brush evenly and very quickly perfect when I am in hurry. As I have cronic anemia I love that this foundation gives me some warmness and colour and I don't look as pale as I really am. It is a medium coverage foundation.

The second foundation is a new one for me, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in 22 Beige Rose. It is a real mach for my skin tone. It is an ultra-light skin perfecting foundation with SPF 15. It is such a fine and smooth foundation that you can wear it even without primer. It looks like your skin and feels like satin. It's ideal for no makeup makeup look. The right foundation if your boyfriend or husband doesn't like the caked look the most foundation leave. You can fool anyone with this :) It is a light coverage foundation so sometimes I have to apply 2 layers and I always apply coloured powder on it to build up the coverage. I apply it with a dense kabuki brush like Sigma Flay Kabuki - F80.

The last but not least is the best of the best foundations of 2014 for me, Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. It is a stay-in-place foundation with SPF 10. It photographs perfectly. It is a full coverage foundation. The best to wear in special events of your life. I even wore it during my labour this year. It covers all the spots, all hiperpigmentation. I apply it with a damp Beauty Blender (pink makeup sponge) because it is very dense and sometimes it can look caked. It applies beautifully that way. Because I have greasy skin I apply also transparent powder on it, but you may not need it. If I had to choose only one of them I would choose this one without any doubt.

Hope it has been helpfull to read my opinions!

Makeup of the day 2

@makeupgirls76 began a new tag #15daysofmakeup and @pinkiesoftheday_ found it out and brought it to Instagram Turkey. Dear @nemihaa tagged me to partecipate in this tag and I am happy to do it.
First day I should do an everyday makeup. So here it is:
As we are on holidays now I did a light but glam makeup today. The products I used are:
Face: I applied Benefit Porefessional face primer with my fingers, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation in 22 Beige Rose with Mac 187 makeup brush, Mac Studio Finish concealer in NC20 warming it and blending it with my fingers because it is a very difficult concealer to use, Stay Matte in transparent under the eyes with Real Techniques contour brush ( I am sorry I didn't put my face brushes in the photo), Mac Mineralized Skin Finish powder in Light Plus all over my face with  Mac 182 kabuki brush.

Cheeks: I put Nars bronzer in Laguna with Mac 163 brush, on my cheeks, front, under my jaw bones and on my neck and Benefit Coralista blush with Mac 129 brush on my cheeks anf sides of the front.

Eyes:I put Nars Pro-primer all over the lid with my fingers. I used Lorac Pro palette to do my eye makeup. I put White eye shadow with Mac 224 brush on my brow bone, Nude in the inner corner of eye with Mac 219 brush, Taupe in my crease and on my lower eyelid with Mac 224 brush, Maive in my crease with Mac 217 brush than I blended the eye shadows with a clean Real Techniques deluxe crease brush. I applied Champagne on my upper lid with Mac 239 brush and Expresso on my upper lash line as eye liner and on 1/3 of outer lower lid lash line with Mac 266 brush. I curled my upper lashes with Shu Uemura eyelash curler and finished my eye makeup with one coat of brown Maybelline Volume Express mascara on my upper and lower lashes and one coat of black Maybelline Volume Express mascara only on my upper lashes.

Lips: I moisterized my lips with Nivea Milk & Honey and put on my Mac Syrup lipstic that is a beautiful light mauve perfect for winter.

Hope you like it!

Makeup of the day

Welcome 2015! Welcome January! Today was a cold sunny day in Izmir. After several days of using red lipstick because of New Year celebrations, I wanted to do a lighter makeup so I came up with this one.
The products I used are the most high end ones because I prefer to use them during holidays and drugstore ones on daily bases.Face: Benefit Porefessional face primer to minimise the pores and help foundation stick better since I am using a light coverage one. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation, because it is smooth and so light that looks like my bare skin and my husband thinks I have nothing on my face :) Mac Studio Finish concealer, I find it heavy but I'm trying to finish it before using another one. Rimmel Say Matte transparent powder under the eyes. Mac Mineralised Skinfinish Natural powder in Light Plus all over the face to add some coverage to my light foundation.

Cheeks: Nars Laguna bronzer, which is a matte warm brown. Coralista blush a satiny coral blush, the best if you got some kilograms more but you stil want to have something on your cheeks ;) Mac Mineralized Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle highlighter that is shinny enough but not glittery or white.

Eyes: Mac Paint Pot in Painterly, Maybelline Master Precise eyeliner, Maybelline Volume Express black mascara.

Lips: Sephora Lip Attitude Glamour G03 lipstick a beautiful creamy coral suitable for both winter and summer.

Hope you liked it!

Most repurchased beauty products

My most repurchased beauty products:

Neutrogena Deep Clean face gel. It is the product I bought the most of all. It is an important part of my morning rutine. Purifies the skin, help preventing black heads, doesn't dry too much the skin.

Kerastase Bain Satin 2 is my favourite  hair shampoo. Make the hair smooth and shinny even if you don't use conditioner after it.

Gliss Oil Nutrive hair sprey helps combing hair without splitting it and has a very good smell that will surely be noted by people around you.

Covergirl Lash Blast Volume mascara is the best mascara I use. It can't be found in Turkey that's why I get it brought from America. Benefit They're real and Max Factor mascaras have similar performance.

Maybelline Affinetone foundation is the best drugstore foundation I have ever used. My colour is Sand and it maches my skin and also gives some pinky pigmentation perfect for fair blonde girlss and all those having anemia whose skin looks very yellow normally. After using  it my skin color looks perfect, it has medium to high coverage and don't feel sticky like some other drugstore foundations do. It is a liquid foundation with powder finish. It is proper for normal, mix and oily skins.

Estee Lauder eye cream is a light gelly cream. As I don't have to many problems in under eye area I can't say much but it helps me a lot especially when I work with  shifts as I work in Emergency Medicine Department and work a lot during the night. Let's say I want to prevent more than correct ;)

Mustella strech mark prevent lotion is the one I used all my pregnancy and repurchased during that time. Now I'm using what is left cause I remained very impressed from its performance.

Rosense rose water is the best I have found. Turkey is famous for rose water but be aware that not every one is for cosmetic use. This is the best tonic. Strings the pores, gives freshness to skin, has a great settled smell that doesn't overwhelm you like the most of rose water do.

Bioderma cleaning water is my most used make up remover as I don't use too much waterproof makeup. It takes my makeup off, doesn't dry my skin, doesn't cause redness and the most important doesn' cause acne as a lot of makeup remover do.

Cliniquechubbystick in Mighty Mimosa is a repurchase too because has a beautiful pink colour and is "your lips but better" kind of lipstick for me.

My favourite makeup product.

Instaoctober's fourth day's question is: What is your favourite makeup product?
My favourite make up product is Naked Eyeshadow Palette by Urban Decay.
There are a lot of warm eyeshadows in this palette which suit my skin and hair colour.
I can do a lot of natural or sophisticated make up looks with it.
Some eyeshadows are satin like and some others shimmery proper for night make up.
Virgin the first eyeshadow of the palette is a creamy satin shadow perfect for inner corner and sometimes I use it to highlight my brow bone too.

Sin is a light satin pink. It can be used also as an inner corner highlighter but I use it most as an eyeshadow base all over the lid especially for day make up.

Naked is the perfect nude for crease. It is  a mat taupe coloured eyeshadow. It looks light brown sometimes and grey others. Perfect for no make up make up looks, perfect as transition shade for whatever color you use to the crease. When I do make up with this palette I don't use any other eyeshadows but when I do make up with other palettes Naked is my most used shadow from this palette.

Sidecar is really shimmery, with lots of chunky glitter. It is a beautiful pink, brown, taupe kind of colour.
Buck is the second and last mat shadow of palette. It is the most usable one to darken the crease. It's a milky chocolate, a bit of greish colour.

Half baked is a metalic gold suitable for New Years looks but is the only one that doesn't mach me so well. I guess it would look better on people with darker skin than me.

Smog is a satin brown. I enjoy doing night looks using it in all lid or as a crease colour.
Darkhorse is a very dark satin brown for outer corner or outer V of eye.
Tosted is one of my favorite colours of palette. It is a satin light maroon with some brown, plum, burgundy tones in it.

Hustle is a satin dark purple with some maroon, plum and burgundy. Both this shadows are unique for night make up.

Creep is a glittery black, a bit hard to pull of but beautiful if you are brave enough.

Gunmetal is a glittery grey, another metalic colour, also proper for evening make up.

This palette came sometime ago to Sephora but I bought it from www.gittigidiyor.com

What is in my makeup bag?

#Instaekim or Instaoctober's 3rd day question: What is in your makeup bag?

My makeup bag is a Victora's Secrets one. I bought it in Istanbul Ataturk Airport when I was going to Albania last summer. It is beautiful. I am sure all pink lovers would like it. It fits a lot of products and has a hanger to use while traveling. That's why I choose it in my trip to Bodrum.

There is Benefit Porefessional Skin Primer, my favourite. This primer is perfect to fill the pores.

Estee Lauder Doublewear Foundation, a full coverage foundation, is a favourite too since my hiperpigmentation got worse during pregnancy. I apply it with a dump beauty sponge and it doesn't feel cakey at all especially if I use a transparant powder and not a usual one on the top.

Nars Blush in Orgasm is a pechy pink goldy sparkles blush. I like it because is very natural, it isn't too shimmery. It doesn't look like a stain in the cheek but you can build it up if you want.

Urban Decay Naked Basics eyeshadow palette. I love this palette because I can do very natural makeup with it. It really enhances your beauty and make it look and feel like you don't have makeup at all. It is the one all boyfriens love ;) But if you want you can use it to do some smoky eyes too. It's all up to you. I should also mention that is traveling friendly because is small, sleek and compact.

There is YSL Glossystain no 27 Peche cerracolla, a beautiful peach lipstain, "your lips but better" kind of one in one coat and a beautiful peachy, shinny, smooth stain in two coats.

OPI nail polish in Melon of Troy is the best to accomplish the lipgloss. Love it especially in summer. It suits all colourful dresses I wear. Put it on and forget about so you don't need to paint your nails  again and again for each outfit you wear.

I was in vacation when I took this photo that's why my bag is full of high end products. My usual daily makeup bag is a lot simpler than this :) I will share it sometimes in the future. Keep on waiting.
